TODAY WAS OUR FIRST FULL DAY IN FRANCE TAKING US INTO THE REGION OF LANGUEDOC. The ride was 55 miles with a tough day of climbing (7,200’ elevation gain). Temperatures reached 100 degrees. Our hotel was at the base of one of the Cathar castles located in the Pyrenees.
